“Back to Class” Bus Tour
More than seventy guests participated in the annual “Back to Class” Bus Tour on May 21, 2003. This year’s tour visited St. Patrick’s School in Roxbury, where visitors were welcomed by a chorus of first graders standing on the steps of the school.

Tours of the school led by junior high school students followed, and visitors were treated to math games, science displays, and seeing computers in use by students. Visitors saw first hand the difference their donations make in the life of the school and the children who are able to attend because of partial CSF/ICSF scholarships.

During lunch, after a welcome by the principal and pastor, children entertained their guests with a variety of songs and demonstrations. Entertainment culminated with an art display and music medley provided by the first grade after which the children passed out gifts for all in attendance. All who participated in this event agreed that the children’s smiles and enthusiasm were the greatest gifts.
